The Hideout, A Planned Community Born In The 70's

The Hideout is my home! It currently is home to over 3400 single family homes and continues to grow. It lies in both Salem Township and Lake Township, both of Wayne County Pa.

The Hideout is a non-profit community run by it's residents which have formed an association called  "The Association of Property Owners of The Hideout" or The Hideout POA for short. 

The Hideout has an elected board of directors, which monitor all activities, facilities, the four lakes and the common property. A community manager hired by the board and reporting to the board has a staff which handle day to day activities of the community.

The Hideout with nearly 42 miles of paved roadway, four large lakes, Roamingwood, Deerfield, Brooks, and Windemere, a golf course, indoor sports facility, two club houses, two outdoor pools, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, basketball and handball courts, motor boating, fishing, a community restaurant, pub with indoor and outdoor seating (in season), minature golf, ski hill, winter tubing, and MORE! What a get-away for the entire family!

Oh, did I mention it is a gated community with a security force employed by The Hideout POA. If you live there full time, rent or own a vacation home, a good time is there year around!

Central water and central sewers make for country carefree living. The Hideout maintenance force is excellent and are there for you 24/7. In addition, a 24/7 trash/garbage dumpsters are provided.
